A few bugs leaving some Borderlands users unable to start co-op matches in the PlayStation 3 version of the game are currently being hammered out, according to developer Gearbox.
"We've identified the problem and are working on a fix," wrote Scott "vatoloco" Velasquez on the official Gearbox forum. Users are reporting being unable to invite friends into games, and many are encountering long wait times when looking for public matches. nope "We'll find out very soon if the issue exists for the PS3 International versions of the Borderlands," he said. "If it does, we'll hopefully have a fix implemented before it affects those customers. We are doing everything we can to get this problem addressed as quickly as possible."
Meanwhile, Gearbox marketing VP Steven Gibson sends word that supplies of Borderlands are running short at many retailers, and that the company is "working with production and distribution at ramping up to catch up with demand."
