Gearbox Working on PS3 Borderlands Co-op Fix (Updated)

console gaming has truly become PC gaming.

The real question is: Will we be able to preload our Steam copies or do we have to wait for D-Day and then kill the Internet pipes to Steam's servers?

Just want to throw in here that I am loving this game on 360. I bought it with the intention of giving it to my brother once the PC version is released next week, then buying on Steam (which just seems wrong since Pitchford is so quick to knock Valve for "exploiting the little guys" even though I've discovered and purchased countless indie games through Steam which I wouldn't have heard of otherwise). But back on topic, the shift in art style was an awesome idea. The game looks phenomenal. The guns are meaty and pack a good punch, even the rusty assault rifle you start with. It's awesome to line up a sick shot with a scoped pistol from a hundred yards away and watch jugular spray and brain matter fly straight up in a messy vertical line in contrast to the sun's glare. Co-op has been a breeze and awesomely fun with friends (although I can see it being very frustrating when a stranger you're playing with won't give up any of his loot even though you'd be far better suited for it).

Also concerned about voice chat on PC, I heard it can't be turned off or even adjusted in the slightest which could get very annoying. Day one patch, possibly?

Anyway, I can tell this game is going to be everything I've hoped for all these months. I'm only level 15 and having a ton of fun playing.

Played this game for six hours straight last night with three friends. I almost left work half way through the day to go home and play, but my fiend chickened out. Loving this game.

On a side note, -looove- this game. Great fun co-op split screen! (minus the 1am noise complain)
