Torchlight Dev Diary 2 Covers Level Tools

Runic's dungeon crawler Torchlight will be supported immediately by a robust set of level tools, allowing players to craft their own singleplayer dungeons and share them with the rest of the hack-and-slash community. The developers explain their approach to the editor in the following video.

Torchlight hits the PC--on Steam and the official website--on October 27.

Really looking forward to this one. Mythos didn't really grab me, but this looks a lot more focused and atmospheric. I like the idea of a pet too, that's really going back to the early roguelike days. was it Hack in the 80s that had a pet dog?
