With Dead Space Extraction hitting Wii exclusively on September 29, the Visceral Games gang has released a trailer telling their joy at designing the on-rails shooter prequel for the system, packing in motion controls for everything from alt-fire modes and a two-player hacking minigame to riveting up barricades and activating glowsticks.

I've played through the first hour or so of the game and thus far i have found it very enjoyable. The graphics are some of the best i've seen yet on the wii, its very engaging, and i am digging the story (i love original dead space). My only real con is im not normally a fan of on-rail shooters, but i'll make an exception for this game :)

The only thing I didn't like about Dead Space was the asteroid shooting sequence. That level was pure torture and extraction seems to be entirely made up of that kind of non fun gaming.
