Mafia 2 Screenshots: Fast Cars and Flick Knives

By Alice O'Connor, Aug 20, 2009 7:25am PDT A fine time, the 1950s. Before the advent of Twitter, rainbow clubs and rap singers, for $5 you could ride a steam train, have a malt, buy a fast car and catch a monster movie at the drive-in, and still have change to get stuck up at knifepoint on your way home.

If you can't wait until "early in 2010" to play 2K Czech's Mafia II for yourself on PC, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, have a gander at fifteen minutes of gameplay footage from E3.

  • What a sad testimont to the state of games these days, Mafia was a fantastic game, but largely overlooked, and now a brilliant looking sequel is on the way, and this update attracts (so far) less then 8 comments.
No, put Starcraft, Diablo, or Left 4 Dead in the title (whether those games are your cup of tea or not) and this thread would overflow to 3 pages...

People have no ability to look beyond the main stream big budget games...

Ever played Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth...no, probably not...pity, it was an inspirational game, vastly underappreciated, the developers went bust, and 2 fantastic sequels went to God...meanwhile Blizzard rakes in another Billion dollars....
