while bf2 was a pain in the ass to even install (copy the dvd and install it manually) the bfheroes variant refuses to be uninstalled. a quick google query finds enough people with the same problem and no solution for a clean deinstallation. once the bf2 like 2 gig patch arrives i can probably uninstall this piece of shit. why the fuck i did install it is still beyond me.

Celldweller isn’t a band so much as a one man army. It’s the multifaceted, crazed and brilliant creative output of just one oddly-coiffed individual -> Klayton Scott. The music is described by Klayton as a “fusion of the electronics of drum & bass and techno, with rock and orchestral elements, meshing the synthetic and the organic, darkness with beauty, into a cohesive blend entirely its own.†A fairly apt description I must say. The self-titled debut is a masterwork, combining trance/techno/d&b with industrial and metal to create a totally unique mix that’s at times incredibly heavy and others light and beautiful.
It’s as if Nine Inch Nails, Lamb of God, Depeche Mode, Infected Mushroom and E.S.Posthumus decided to pool their efforts and kick ass together. You’ve probably already heard Celldweller’s music actually, as it’s been used in many movies and trailers, including Spider-Man and other prominent films. He also used to do Circle of Dust and does all of the music for Criss Angel's shows/albums.
Celldweller is really awesome and I know there are a lot of fans here already. I think you'll dig 'em. Listen and let me know what you think!

the best part for me was meeting Randy Pitchford, dude is super cool. he even took the time to come on the tour of the office with us. he's very smart and friendly, and i got the feeling that everyone working for gearbox digs his leadership, but i could just be projecting a nerd crush. shit i didn't even know his name, when i first saw him i was like, "hey, you're that guy from the borderlands demo video from like a year ago that all excited about the game and was kinda overly excited and goofy in the video, and every video since" , and i told him it's so cool he has so much passion for his work/borderlands. i felt really dumb when i found out a moment or two later that he's owner/founder of gearbox, OOOOOPPPPSSSS.
OH and i did the same thing to steve gibson! it was terrible, he meets me and some other winners in the lobby, and on the way up in the elevator, i ask him if he ever worked for the shack? I FUCKING DIDN'T REALIZE HE MADE THE SHACK! and steve didn't even flinch, he just said something like "oh no, i haven't ever worked there", and i not knowing any better believed him. ahahahhahahah i found out later who he is, and felt dumb. steve is rad, but i'm sure all you sally's and nigel's know that already.

Whats "todays" general rule about kids birthday parties? My kids are invited to a b-day party where they are going somewhere that requires an admission fee. Now when my wife and I do this for our kids we always pay for every kid since its was our idea. This particular party the parents told us we have to pay for our own kids. I am starting to see this more often and it pisses me off. I am half tempted to say no however its not the kids fault so I'll just cave and pay the damn fee. So I have to buy a gift and pay admission to go.
WTF........
maybe this is normal these days?? I'll change how I do it if that's the case.

I can't finish the final mission because of some stupid glitch(or design?). At one point you have to press space repeatedly and no matter how fast (or slow) I press it, I cannot complete the action. I even tried mapping the jump to another button, plugging in a 360 controller and doing it, etc. This is so frustrating. Gonna try rebinding jump to mouse 1/2. Hopefully at least that will work.

I've been playing most of the day. Just start off and finished my 1st real assassination in the 1st 1/3 of Damascus. Everything about this game is just awesome. I love just walking through crowds, pushing people out of the way. Also, roof hoping is fucking bad ass. They really did a great job at the animation of the main character and the people in the cities. It's all full of life. just standing around, sometimes I just watch people, they converse, some people stop and listen to the guys preaching shit, some walk by and make a face. It's just all so nicely done.
Like I said, i'm barely into the game, and i've played probably close to 6 hours already. I made sure to complete all the side quests before going for the major kill at the end of the level, finding all the eagle lookouts, helping all the citizens, pick pocketing (which i really suck at, heh) etc. It's all varied and you can do them at will, so it keeps things different. I'm lovin' it!! The only bad thing is, as it's a rental from Gamefly, it's listed as not able to buy instead of returning it, so i'm gonna have to go find it locally and buy it, I want it for my collection of always have games. :) Also, can't wait for AC2 now.

While they progressively get worse with each one, the 3'rd movie is still actually better than some other shit from out of Hollywood lately - I would rate them at least worth renting.
Also Mila looks so much better with the extra sandwhich or two in RE compared to 5'th Anorexialment
