Castle Crashers Dev's 'Game 3' Will Steal Your Soul

Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth has released a new development video showing off one of the many modes in its yet-untitled competitive platformer 'Game 3.'

Soul Mode--also a working title--sees teams trying to snatch and hold the others' souls. Watch Game 3's adorable announcement trailer and it might just steal your heart too.

Game 3 is currently slated to arrive in 2010 on platforms unknown, though a recent job listing suggests it could be a downloadable title for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.

I will not be giving them any more money. Castle Crashers just disconnects. I loved the game but I cannot play it for more than 10 minutes without it disconnecting. I'm done.

I love Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid, but this looks extremely boring and as if they aren't even trying to make a decent game after playing CC.

This looks like a huge step back from the polished (outside of the MP fuck ups) greatness that was Castle Crashers. I would pay full price for a sequel to that game.

I just hope multiplayer works properly and it doesn't delete my character stats like CC did. Such a great game with such a horrible problem that they took their sweet time to fix (if they ever fixed it)
