Grand Theft Auto 4 'Gay Tony' DLC Arrives Oct. 29
by Nick Breckon, Jul 22, 2009 3:31pm PDTRockstar today announced that The Ballad of Gay Tony, the next episodic content release for Grand Theft Auto IV, will launch worldwide on October 29 according to developer Rockstar.
The downloadable content will sell for $20. A retail disc that compiles both episodes--dubbed "Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City"--will sell for $40 on the same day, and will not require the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
Rockstar also released the first promotional desktop image for Gay Tony, viewable above.
The Ballad of Gay Tony puts players in the role of Luis Lopez, an assistant to "legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka 'Gay Tony')." The chapter will depict the challenges of "competing loyalties of family and friends" and the "uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price."
