Uncharted 2 Gets Release Date, Multiplayer Demo
by Chris Faylor, Jul 21, 2009 10:10am PDTNathan Drake's second PlayStation 3 outing will arrive in North America on October 13 with a multiplayer demo due weeks before, publisher Sony has informed Kotaku.
The multiplayer demo for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be released to the public around September 30, with those that pre-order Naughty Dog's action-adventure sequel from GameStop getting early access to the demo on September 9. According to the report, the multiplayer demo will no longer be playable after the game launches in October.
Several other pre-order bonuses were also announced, with Best Buy offering exclusive golden weapons for multiplayer, Amazon.com getting an exclusive in-game treasure map, and Game Crazy netting a currency multiplier to "to gain in-game currency and unlock bonuses faster...for a limited period." Meanwhile, those that pre-order from GameStop will also be able to immediately unlock the "Revenge Attribute" instead of earning it.

re5 or uncharted2 (3 players!!!) coop is max fun for me.
gta4 or bioshock are great games but coop just rules ...

Now, it doesn't say "exclusive access" (as it was with L4D), so hopefully their heads aren't *completely* engaged in their sphincters...
The first Uncharted was excellent - hopefully the second will live up to the first (which seems a rarity these days...)
