Weekly PC Sales: Monkey Island Sales Tell a Tale

This week's PC digital distribution sales lists are in, revealing a strong opening performance by Telltale's Tales of Monkey Island.

The revival of the classic LucasArts franchise bested all Steam sellers last week, while respectably charting at the ninth position on Direct2Drive.

Tales of Monkey Island deserves to be number 1, it's both awesome and hilarious. I hope the Secret of Monkey Island remake sells as well, I'd love to see a bunch more Lucasarts games getting some remake love.

Great to see Monkey Island and StreetFighter selling well but it's a bit worrying with the lack of new ideas. I was playing these two games about 18 years ago! Oh well, it's still great to see them back.
