More information on EA's highly anticipated lifestyle simulator The Sims 3 is due on March 19, according to a recently launched teaser site.

EA has been rather tight-lipped about the latest title in one of its most successful brands. Two years ago, the company noted its hopes to release the game within its 2009 fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009, though recent EA presentations have not mentioned the project.

The live-action The Sims movie has likewise been on media blackout since its initial unveiling, leaving series aficionados to ponder how the the franchise's predilection towards adventure, experimentation, and gibberish speak will translate to the big screen.
