Morning Squidussion
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 14, 2009 6:50am PDTThere's a special chipper energy floating around the Shacknews virtual office this morning, the kind of energy that can only be channelled through cephalopods.
Squid and octopodes are of course the stars of the class, and even cuttlefish get a little screen time, but the poor nautilus is all too often forgotten. Few believe she was in that graduating class all those millions of years ago as her classmates have changed so much since then, but she was there alright. Secured tight inside a beautiful shell, with cold uncaring eyes and dozens of tentacles, she's my kind of cephalopod.

I've read about Azure since it was announced and 1) I still don't know how to pronounce Azure and 2) I still don't know wtf it is really for.
I guess I still get hung up when I see people jerking off into the "cloud" still. As soon as I see someone talk about the "cloud" the same kind of warning flags go up in my mind that I get when I hear words like synergy and when the man in the white van outside of the playground with the blacked out windows would talk about touching base.
