Trine Release Moved Up, Coming Today

The downloadable PC release of Frozenbyte's platformer Trine will go live this morning, according to the game's Steam page.

The PC version is priced at $30 on Steam, and is set to unlock at 9am PST today. The PlayStation 3 release, expected either today or next Thursday, will cost only $20.

No idea what Trine is? Think LittleBigPlanet, but with a fantasy setting, three distinct characters, and only offline multiplayer to start. Or just check out the excellent demo.

They put it back to $30 and apologized for the mistake, they never planned on making it $30. So for anyone who got it for $20, is Valve asking for more money or did you just score a sweet very limited time deal.
