Konami Brings Contra to the Wii with Contra ReBirth
by Nick Breckon, May 08, 2009 2:12pm PDTContra sidescrolling action is soon coming to the Wii in Japan with Contra ReBirth, Konami announced today on the game's website.
As a new but faithful Contra title, the WiiWare title will sport two-player co-op, though online functionality was not mentioned. A few tiny shots of the game were also posted, viewable below.
The downloadable game will be released in Japan on May 12 for 1000 Wii Points ($10). A North American release has not yet been announced.
