Morning Discussion

In sunnier news, I'm excited about the upcoming StarCraft 2 beta. Nick badgered me into playing StarCraft recently and it seems we've finally found a game he's better at than me. Hopefully SC2's changes throw him off enough for me to win at least one round.

-The 'integration' between XPM and Windows 7 is nice but a little clunky sometimes. For instance the virtual machine uses a 'user' to automatically launch, you install the feature and I'd rather have a different username for it other than 'user'.
-After installing legacy apps on the XPM virtual machine, I copied the shortcut to the program to the All Users folder to present itself to Windows 7 and it fucking erased my Windows Virtual PC start menu directory and I cannot get it back. Explorer says it's still there but the 'start menu' doesn't recognize it.
-Not having a built in quicklaunch toolbar is somewhat annoying, had to make my own.
-Doesn't run domain .vbs script files for mapping network drives very well. It works with .BAT files to map drives such as a NET USE but with .vbs files it shits on itself. If you run the .vbs file manually works great.
-Don't have a 2008 DC yet, so some group policy is funktified.
Other than those issues so far, this is the best OS I've ever used. Love it!
