Fallout 3 DLC Fixed Again, Re-re-released
by Chris Faylor, Apr 03, 2009 9:06am PDTFollowing complaints of freezing issues, Bethesda has once again re-released the latest batch of Fallout 3 DLC, "The Pitt," for those players using an Xbox 360.
"If you haven't experienced any issues with freezing, there's no need to re-download," reads Bethesda's blog. After its March 24 debut, the Xbox 360 release of the 800 MS Point ($10) add-on was pulled and re-released due to problems with a corrupt file.
Instructions on deleting and re-downloading the content follow below. Thanks to Xbox Live programming director Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb for the walkthrough.
- Sign in to Xbox LIVE then press the guide button
- Go to Settings->System Settings->Memory.
- From here, scroll down to Fall Out 3 and press A.
- Select Fallout 3: The Pitt (Marketplace Content) press A then choose Delete, then Yes to Delete.
Now, you can go and re-download the new version for no charge and begin your adventure. Remember, any content you purchased (like The Pitt) can be re-downloaded at no charge.
Also, don't delete anything that says 'Autosave.' That would be bad ;)
