I've held off simple because of all the bugs and performance issues I've been reading about.
I've got a 8800GTX o/c'd, Q6600 @ 2.7Ghx, 2GB - nothing more annoying than having what you think's a reasonable powerful PC only to find some games runs like shite on it.

I'm thinking mainly of the people who play at 1680x1050 and above resolutions with quad cores (AMD or Intel).
My new system is pbly going to be AMD Phenom II 955 3.2Ghz, 4Gb DDR3, HD4870 1Gb or HD4870x2 2GB.....all running a 1920x1200 res monitor. I'm not expecting to max everything out with this game, hell no. But getting close would be nice.

Also the textures are a lot better somehow. The water textures and car reflections have been vastly improved, I believe.

I have put of buying GTA4 on the PC after I read all of the complaints at release, but I will now buy it and play it hopefully with far less stress.
