I can't even remember when I started dragging Cryptonomicon's hefty 1130-page paperback form around, though I'm sure it was sometime this year. Just being less than 200 pages from its conclusion, I'm already feeling a sense of accomplishment.
Next up, I think I'll be digging through Cory Doctorow's Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, a (supposedly) lighthearted science fiction novel set in the Disney World of the future. After that, back to Mr. Neal Stephenson, in the form of Snow Crash. Or maybe I'll go way, way back and re-read some of those old Phillip K. Dick books. VALIS? Hmm.
