            If your "few years old" can stretch back to '98-'02, you should get an LS1-powered F-body (Camaro or Trans Am). The mullet-mobiles are faster stock than any Mustang GT up to and including this year's, and they tend to handle better too, if you're into road courses and the like. They respond equally well to mods, and are quite reliable. I personally think they look better, but that's subjective. You should be able to find them relatively easily for under $10k, though they won't be the top-end models (same engine though) or really low-mileage examples.
