Morning Discussion
by Chris Faylor, Feb 26, 2009 7:22am PSTThursday? Yeah, no problem. I can do Thursday.
Starting to get a bit excited about this weekend's Frisco/Dallas Shackmeet of laser tag, bowling, gelato and doom. Maarten and I are both flying in tomorrow afternoon, as to not miss a moment of the Saturday hijinks. It's my first Shackmeet. Please, be gentle.

To be honest the only people making "sport sedans" with a manual transmission these days that live up to the sport half of "sport sedan" is BMW, and you aren't going to get a 4-door 335 (twin-turbo 3.0L) for close to $35K, it will cost you a bit more. You can drop the engine trim on the 3-series to get the price down, but you aren't going to get 300+ HP and 4 doors from them for $35K.
My IS 350 loaded (ventilated seats, navi etc) was $40K out the door a year ago. Maybe prices have gone down due to the economy, but you could get a basic one without the navi or all the bells for $35K I'm sure.
