Weekly PC Sales: Left 4 Dead Rises Again

Apart from some reshuffled positions--Left 4 Dead is four spots higher than it was the week before--NPD's list of the ten best-selling PC games at United States retailers didn't change all that much during the week of January 25-31, 2009.

Still no clue as to why Civilization IV suddenly reappeared in the charts, but as this is its second week up there, it obviously wasn't a one-time fluke. You folks got any ideas?

The fact that Civ 4 is in the top 10 /again/ is amazing in itself, but that it beat the CoDWaW juggernaut, a recent release, is absolutely mesmerizing. WTF?

Did Firaxis promise to add Steam achievements and blowjobs for this in a future patch and everybody but Shackernews knows?

Picking up both the WoW Battle Chest and WotLK at the same time must be a pretty bad deal. As far as I know the latest expansion adds absolutely nothing to players under level 68. And by the time you will be level 68 with your newly started character (if you even make it there) the expansion has probably dropped in price.
