Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Alpha Footage Leaked

Here's some leaked shaky-cam alpha footage of Free Radical's Star Wars: Battlefront 3, a game that is now rumored to be in the hands of developer Rebellion following Free Radical's near-closure.

It's tough to make out at times, but even on a tiny screen, it is clear that Free Radical was aiming for an impressive scale with the team-based multiplayer sequel.

This type of game could be awesome if they added an rpg element to it. A leveled progress system wherein you gain xp and new abilities; customizable weapons and armor, in-depth loot system with an extremely detailed and varied weapons list. A great multi-player and co-op would sell by it-self.

  No. A thousand times NO. RPG like progression systems to artificially restrict progress fucking suck in FPSes. FPSes did just fine for years with all equipment available to everyone if you could simply run to the proper location. Fucking Quake 3, the best multiplayer FPS ever, had NINE weapons to choose from and was balanced perfectly. If you want loot and experience, go play a fucking MMO.
