Press Floozies Discuss The Prince of Persia World
by Maarten Goldstein, Nov 27, 2008 11:55am PSTUbisoft has released another Prince of Persia promotional trailer, featuring a collection of pretty people talking about the look and feel of the environments seen in the game. I think they even allowed a few members of the development team to talk about the game, how generous!
Prince of Persia will be released December 2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version following December 9.

That felt like watching one of those awful "Fabulous Life of..." or "100 greatest..." shows you see on TV, for all those annoying talking heads with their redundant opinions. Where are all of the geeks, and real gamers? Where are the dev team, bespectacled and replete with RSI? I go to a university that specialises in games/programming/animation courses, and there's a reason they're not on camera... they're fucking horrible! They're puny, spotty, smelly geeks that all huddle together to fanwank over their favourite IPs. They all speak out of their noses like Bill Gates and John Carmack, and I don't care. Show me them, as much as I hate them. Because I can't think which is worse.

Producer
Level Designer
Game Designer
AI Programmer (who apparently never played PoP: Warrior Within)
Every time I watch more footage and hear people talk about the game, it reminds me more and more of what they attempted with PoP: Warrior Within.
1. The Black Evil in this game, which is similar to the Dahaka (Warrior Within)
2. How the levels transform once you save them, and you get new ways to go back through the same level (also done very well in WW)
3. More fighting
4. Not as linear as the other PoP games (also done first in WW).

Whose idea are these idiot videos?

OMG, It's like they took actual artists and told them to paint something and said 'we're going to animate that'.
As versus all the other AAA titles where we've done that. And I love 'actual' artists. All you artists out there who've been working on video games, you aren't actual artist.
I could watch this maybe except for that check.
DAMN that game looks good.
