Goddamn. I didn't even notice the 8 player coop. When I'm playing Duke I've always though to myself, "This would be so much better if I could play with a house full of people." Does it scale the enemies? Whatever, it doesn't matter. I got an Xbox 360 for Castle Crashers and while nothing in recent history or any future releases will top that game on consoles, Duke is certainly not recent, certainly not a console game and tops every game in the history of forever.
