Activision has released new media for Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, focusing on the Black Cat character.Voice work for Black Cat will be handled by Tricia Helfer, known for her role as Number Six in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows will be released for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS and PSP October 21st.

    Here is hoping this one doesn't suck.

    I actually had the latest Superman game in my hands the other day.. so cheap that it was almost a steal..
    Anyway..I considered buying it. Then I remembered the reviews :(

    Such a shame that these kind of games so often doesn't live up to their potential.
    Would be awesome having a 'masterpiece' game of this sort released.

        The only one I bought was spider man 2. That was great fun. I used to spend hours just swinging around the city. Do any of the others have the same kind of gameplay as that one? Would have to be on xbox original, ps2 or pc as I'm a bit behind on consoles atm.

            Yeah they kind of dumbed down the movement since Spiderman 2. I think they got some flack for it being too difficult, but I really felt that swinging around in Spiderman 2 was almost perfect.

            Ultimate Spiderman simplified it a bit, but the game was still fun. The only problem with all of the Spiderman games is they've been way too short.
