Morning Discussion

How are you doing my Shacknews compatriots? QuakeCon 08 is this weekend, so more than a few Shackers should be gathering in Dallas. Check out the informatives on the front page to, and you'll probably find people trying to gather for games, Dennys, drinks and more.

With Nick and Steve covering the show, we've got a couple of nice things to check out. First and foremost, Nick got to play the new Wolfenstein (trailer). Plus there is the extended Rage trailer, making the relationship between the shooter and the shoot-ee a bit more clear. Plus we get to hear all sorts of neat things from the ever informative John Carmack such as, Apple, Quake Zero, Quake Arena 2, Wolf:ET, Rage's engine and distribution and the Activision relationship.

Went last year, skipped this year, planning on the next. Johnathan and I are going to rent a private jet and land in the parking lot of the anatole next year. Believe.

I planned on going this year but I finally got in contact with my friend in England and am going there instead. I plan on going next year though.
