Blizzard Reveals New StarCraft 2 Screenshot, Art

The official StarCraft II website has been updated with a single screenshot and new artwork from the anticipated RTS sequel, detailing the Zerg's primary hive planet Char.

Developer Blizzard Entertainment has not yet hinted at any possible release date, though some speculate that more information will arise at Blizzard's 2008 Worldwide Invitational, where the company is strongly rumored to debut a new title.

I will buy and play this, but for multiplayer I'm looking forward to DoW2 more. I feel that relic has evolved the RTS genre beyond rock-paper-scissors with their cover system, destructible terrain that affects gameplay, garrisonable buildings, etc. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yep ... still looks like Starcraft 2. Are there people way more into this than me who are finding new things in each of these screenshots? Admittedly I'm not poring over each one looking for some new unit that hasn't been depicted yet, but I'm kind of feeling like they've reached a saturation point with gameplay screens.
