Morning Discussion

Shackers, please make sure to maximize the benefits of hump day, Wednesday only comes once a week. We managed to take a look at the forthcoming Fallen Empire: Legions for the PC, and it sounds quite alright and then some. In other news, it looks like EA will be using some interesting protection for some forthcoming games, we already seem to have quite the discussion going here.

The Mist is opening here this weekend. I heard the ending is good. How about in general, worth watching?

I liked it, the whole atmosphere, the look and feel of the creatures was cool (same guys that did Pan´s Labinryth) and just overall good movie.

It's weak, bad acting, bad CGI, annoying characters.. I could go on

Yes. It's a 6 or 7 out of 10, so it's good, but it won't blow your mind. The ending is pretty awesome though.

I expected it to be utter crap when I started it so I was surprised it was as good as it was.

Seems like you'll either love it or hate it.

I loved it, and I don't see how any self respecting horror fan could not like it.

Generally a good movie, I'd say that's the concensus around here.

It's ok i guess, i really like the premise, it does really well imo for the first 45mins to an hour or so.. i really hated the initial big reveal.. i thought it was kinda lame and very stephen king like.. i thought the ending was *ok* i mean it was kindof a "oh man whoops" type shit.. but i didn't think it made up for the lameness

watch another movie first and then hop in during the last hour or so. the plot really doesn't go anywhere until the last 30-40 minutes really.

If you go see movies at the theater all the time, it's not a bad choice. If you're like me and only go see em once in a great while, then save it for a rental.
