Mario Super Sluggers Revealed
by Chris Faylor, Apr 10, 2008 2:45pm PDTNintendo of America today revealed the first details on Mario Super Sluggers (Wii), the latest sports title to star Mario and what Nintendo referred to as "his unpredictable pals."
Much like the Wii Sports baseball mini-game, Sluggers has players literally swinging and pitching with the Wii Remote. However, unlike Wii Sports, it will allow players to charge up power moves with button presses.
According to Nintendo, Mario Super Sluggers will arrive later this year, though no firm release date was provided.
A rebranding of the previously announced Super Mario Stadium Baseball, Sluggers is being developed by Mario Superstar Baseball (GCN) veteran Namco Bandai.

You can only have fun with Wii Sports for so long.
Why they still haven't done a proper Wii Golf (or Wii Tennis) is beyond me. This would sell so much, it wouldn't even be funny..
The games they make now, the few that there are just are not tailored to me, my 360, ps3 and pc draw my gaming addition 100%.
I will forever play my SNES emulator so that I keep the image of Nintendo I want to remember personally, one that is the best hardware and software for its era.

Man, mario has a lot of genres!
I just dunno if the wii motion controls are sensitive enough for me to be excited over this, considering the wii can play the GCN baseball, the bar for this game is almost ENTIRELY in the controller for me.
