Dark Salvation Screens, Concept Art Released
by Chris Faylor, Mar 12, 2008 5:09pm PDTIndependent developer Mangled Eye Studios sent along the first publicly released screenshots and concept art of its upcoming PC shooter, Dark Salvation.
"This game will take you back to the days of old school FPS shooters with its single player fast action game play," claimed the studio.

Powered by id's Quake III Arena engine and under development for almost 7 years, Dark Salvation has players taking control of young dead woman who finds herself in the underworld. During her tenure in the land below, the lass runs across an unspecified "deadly object" that sets off her quest.
Mangled Eye is currently targeting a 2008 release for the game, which will be sold at a budget price.

Also, it reminds me of that old KISS (Circus) game
Daikatana?
Is it just me or does the game itself look like something that should have come out 3-4 years ago?

It looks like Blood had sex with Heretic, and this is it's offspring. :/
Looks like it could be fun, I wouldn't have guessed 7 years of development though. Guess that explains the engine choice.
