Dark Sector Goes Gold, Arrives March 25
by Chris Faylor, Mar 07, 2008 9:13am PSTDigital Extremes' glaive-wielding action title Dark Sector (PS3, X360) has entered the manufacturing process and will ship to North American retailers on March 25, D3Publisher announced today.
Powered by Digital Extremes' Evolution Engine, the title has players assuming the role of Hayden, a former special ops agent infected by a virus that grants him superpowers. Just like Mega Man, Hayden must defeat bosses in order to acquire their specific powers, such as the ability to create a bullet-deflecting bubble shield.
Dark Sector also sports a multiplayer mode, featuring two different gameplay types, with Digital Extremes hoping to eventually flesh out the title's multiplayer component via downloadable content.
