Play the Zack & Wiki Flash Demo, Then Buy It. Jerks.
by Chris Faylor, Mar 05, 2008 12:40pm PSTIt's a sad truth, but Capcom's Wii adventure Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure hasn't exactly flown off store shelves. And it seems someone, somewhere, is making an effort to change that.
Case in point, a brief Flash demo, courtesy of Nintendo Europe, that highlights some of the title's early puzzles. So if you haven't yet, give it a shot--just load the site and hit the Gameplay tab.
Now, obviously, we here at Shacknews really like Capcom's Zack & Wiki. Though it may have some confusing moments, we liked its level-based take on old-school adventure games so much that we named the title as one of the runners-up for both Wii Game of the Year and Adventure Game of the Year in 2007.
Our esteemed readers seemed to agree with this assessment, likewise voting it as one of the Adventure Game of the Year runners-up in the 2007 Shackers' Choice Awards.
But hey, don't take our word for it. Go and play it yourself. Then, once you realize the error of your ways, make haste in your purchase.
