Morning Discussion
by Jeff "geedeck" Gondek, Jan 31, 2008 6:19am PSTGood morning Shackers, let's do this. We've got some Shack-exclusive Ninja Gaiden II footage here, and this interview might just compliment it nicely. I thought it was rather interesting that Itagaki made a concession towards those who are ready for the full unbridled challenge of a Ninja Gaiden game, and I for one am grateful. I am also grateful that Nick has brought us another Replay Couch, I don't want to spoil it but there might be some Yakety Sax in there.
If blogs could have Michelin stars, I'd like to think the Shackblog would have some:
Daily Filter: Planetside 2, Deadlight
Weekend PC digital deals: strategy-o-rama
38 Studios, Harry Potter Kinect - Shacknews Daily: May 25, 2012
Minecraft for Xbox 360 dev working on 'Adventure' update
Demon's Souls servers extended again
join up for super happy fun time!

I remember a shacker said they have their random settings to play stuff they had not heard in a while based on last played, how would one go about doing this? I notice I am getting the same songs on random more often than not and i don't hear other songs nearly as much.

It was some custom map that some guy made, which wasn't very good, but after a few minutes of playing as a scout, I started dominating half of the other team. At one point I was dominating 7 players, as a scout mind you. Now, I'm a decent scout, but I've never, EVER dominated that many people before on a Shack server. A few weeks ago I was called a "cheater" by one server, and was promptly kicked after my 5th headshot in a row. All this leads me to this post...
Are we just that much better at TF2 than the general population? I mean, I'm a decent player, not a pro by any means, and will generally be own3d by most players on the Shack servers, but when I get off the Shack servers and go play elsewhere, I generally kick ass. Does anyone else experience the same thing when/if they ever go to public servers?

Tonight i can has a jumpclone and high quality lvl 4 agents. May the iskies roll in and the pvp adventures commence! Upping ze gunnery skills atm so i can speed up my missionrunning a bit. I want more isk per hour.
Speaking of isk per hour. How does 0.0 ratting (kill/loot/salvage) compare against high quality L4 missions? More profits?

So i understand the argument being that Vinyl is a more accurate recording since its analog and not just 'snapshots' of analog audio recorded digitally. And really, I'm just trying to figure out to what level does this still hold true? I mean, lossless audio is getting pretty popular, is it on par with Vinyl yet? Is it superior? Are there other methods that I don't know about? I'm not really an audiophile in the least, i'm just trying to form an opinion as to whether or not most these kids with huge vinyl collections are full of shit or now.
So, what's the shacks take?

We're excited to announce the opening of our newest Shipping Center in Tampa, FL! Our Tampa center will allow us to ship game rentals to the entire U.S. faster than ever.
We know that delivery times are very important to all our members. We're working with the USPS every day to speed up your shipping and get your games to you faster.
If you'd like to know whether Los Angeles, Tampa, or Pittsburgh is your primary Shipping Center, please check the return address on your next GameFly mailer or check your Membership Terms.
I guess that might make it a better option for people in the Southeast. Midwest still gets screwed, I bet that's the next expansion.

Simple question. I have a class setup in a header file that is called Employee. I've then set up a prototype to set default values for this class. Now in my main cpp file in main(); I'm trying to create an array of these classes, I've initialized it by calling Employee em100];
This gives me this error:
assign1.cpp: In function âint main()â:
assign1.cpp:17: error: no matching function for call to âEmployee::Employee()â
Employee.h:14: note: candidates are: Employee::Employee(char*, char*, char*, dou ble)
Employee.h:6: note: Employee::Employee(const Employee&)
assign1.cpp:17: warning: unused variable âempâ
make: *** [assign1.o] Error 1
wtf I've ever had problems initlizing these arrays before am I being dumb and missing something simple?
