            If those cables go from one mini-plug to two RCA jacks (L/R) they'd probably work. Not a way I'd care to go though.

            I don't see how that changes what I said earlier. I don't think he'll find a PC speaker set in that price range that will sound better than the Bose set he listed. The ones Zero|DPX posted might prove me wrong though.
