The feature, which details infamous delays and cancellations in PC gaming's history, lists Alone in the Dark's "estimated arrival time" as September of this year, six months behind its currently projected release window of this coming March.
Eden Games and Atari were reached for comment but have not responded as of this time.

The original game was awesome, and the first sequel was alot of fun, and had such great background music that I still listen to and hum it to this day.
Then things went downhill. I think remaking the original by keeping the original basic plot and reworking some of the game mechanics and the usual graphical overhaul would have been a great homage... but who knows maybe this will be a cool game, if it ever comes out.
