style="border: medium none ;">Recently we asked for Shackers to celebrate the holidays in the language we speak truest in: Video games. Did grandma get run over by a reindeer... in Mario Kart? Well we asked and you guys certainly did not disappoint. This being our last contest for 2007, we wanted to go out on a bang and so first prize is an Xbox 360 Elite system. The stakes were high but so was the quality of the entries. A few of our favorites follow:

Thanks to all the participants, I think the quality of entries has never been higher, which makes our job all the tougher. In the end, the numerous and high quality entries of Havoc1c4 have brought us to choose him as the winner of the Xbox 360 Elite. Thanks for all the entries, tune back in tomorrow when I pass out the rest of our holiday goodies. In the mean time, feel free to look through all the entries.

  • Lots of good entries this time around and clearly a serious amount of effort. I was amused to see how pervasive certain Christmas icons are. I had considered doing a Shadow of the Colossus image with the main character riding Rudolph and fighting the Bumble, but didn't have the time. I was actually fairly psyched to see that those elements made their way into other images. Interestingly, I had planned to do a God of War image with the giant mechanical minotaur as Rudolph, too, without knowing someone was working on a Colossus image with the same motif. Freaking Montgomery Ward really scored with that story.
