Infinity Ward has issued a new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare patch, updating the game to v1.2. This update takes care of the game's Lean view offset issue, while also preparing the game for the release of the mod tools.

I've got a huge problem with COD4 (also had it with COD2). Whenever I move around using the mouse to go forward, or backwards with space (strafe with keys) the game is smooth as butter. But when I start moving my mouse to look around it gets jerky like a motherfucker. Jerky like in completely unplayable. Friends told me when they look from my viewpoint it shows up there also. I could fix the problem in COD2 by reinstalling the game once in a while, but wtf?!?! I shouldn't have to do that. If I play something like TF2, then there are no problems. Also, it should be said that moving the mouse in the menus in COD, is also jerky-town. :-(

I've got a Logitech G5 mouse.

Hope we get some bigger maps for PC. 32 people on some of these maps is crazy. Most of the maps are really fun though.

Mod tools are one of the main reason why I bought the PC version. I made some maps to COD2 and Im looking forward to make them for COD4.

I just hope the tools are good enought cause Radiant on COD 2 was a pain in the a.***

PC version = Mod tools + Mouse + Keyboard + Free online multiplayer + Great servers

If you have a decent PC this is a no brain choice if you ask me.
