Shrek-N-Roll, Screwjumper Slated for XBLA Wed.

Shrek-N-Roll and Screwjumper mark this week's Xbox Live Arcade releases, bringing the service's total library to 100 games. Each arrives in the online marketplace on Wednesday, November 14, selling for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) a piece. As previously reported, Frozen Codebase's Screwjumper involves freefalling through mines, blowing them to smithereens, and escaping before the explosion consumes the whole structure. Created by prolific XBLA developer Backbone Entertainment, Shrek-N-Roll has players navigating tilt-controlled puzzles in the land of Far Far Away. Along with single-player, the game includes versus and co-op modes. Chair Entertainment's Undertow arrives next week, on Wednesday, November 21, a week that marks the two year anniversary of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade. XBLArcade.com suggests that the "'true' sequel to the biggest XBLA title to date" will also appear in celebration, implying a sequel to Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, though an official sequel for the title has yet to be announced for Xbox Live Arcade.
