Rage Publisher Not Yet Determined

At QuakeCon in Dallas, Texas, id Software's Todd Hollenshead informed Shacknews that no publishing contract has yet been signed for its just-announced internal project Rage (PC, Mac, PS3, X360). Hollenshead's statement contradicts reports from various online publications that longtime id publisher Activision has been tapped to release Rage. When asked for further clarification, Hollenshead stated that the lack of an existing contract does not necessarily imply that Activision will not publish the game, merely that nothing has been determined.   man, that would suck ass to try to download that sucker with everyone else on the day it came out. They are gonna have at least 10-18GB of data to download. Valve is gonna need to buy lots of temporary BW to cover that release.
