  • New unit first impressions:
UEF T2 bomber: same as T1 bomber, but does more damage and has 75hp instead of 20.

Aeon Guided MIssle: Basically its like a kamikaze plane, and when it gets over its target it exploads into a bunch of submunitions that sort of shoot in a tight shotgun like pattern delivering lots of damage (1 hit took off about 1/5th of a commander's hp). it is also relativly fast, about as fast as a t1 scout plane by just guessing. It dies once it runs out of gas, limiting its range (also you cant stockpile a ton of them in your base because they will run out of gas by simply loitering). However, this will also give aeon aircraft carriers much more lethality, since they would be able to produce these. This is an intresting unit.

Cybran T2 bomber: this thing fucking owns! its not so much a bomber as it is an air to ground missle frigate. It strafes its targets with a barrage of air to ground missles, but what makes it cool is that unlike bombs, the plane doesnt have to be over the target to score a hit, since it can fire its missles as soon as it gets in range. this will have interesting implications for defending against them since they will be less prone to AA compared to bombers that have to fly much closer to its target before being able to unload. Also they are pretty quick, about as fast as a fighter. The mouseover description also said "there are rumors that cybran scientists are working on a fighter-bomber version" which might be some foreshadowing for the expansion (or maybe another patch?). I like this unit a lot.
