I just replayed Fallout 2...best part is still getting married and then selling wife into slavery lol...if Fallout3 is anywhere near as mature (drugs, sex, violence) in content I'll be surprisingly pleased.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game ends up having dozens of camera perspectives to choose from to appease the masses ala the GTA series when it turned to 3D. It retained the old over the top perspective but had the 3rd person one as default.

If the game looks anything like the concept art, it will be pretty fucking amazing. I wouldn't even care if it was first-person Oblivion with guns.

Incidentally, wouldn't it be neat if you could switch between first-person and classic third-person viewing modes?

As a world artist, I always hate seeing concept art that looks so nice, so detailed then when it comes down to building it for even next gen hardware, all the cool stuff gets stripped out by technology limitations...

How large is this game going to be? Is it going to be one large landmass or a series of maps with connector paths that instantly move you across the county? I imagine it will have the desert southwest, Washington, and other various locations.
