The fact that this game requires lengthy tutorial clips to explain the hella-complex interface and gameplay is exactly why I will never get into it. I hope all you armchair general people appreciate this stuff, though. The amount of thought that's gone into SupCom is impressive.

really? i played it for the first time the other night and i knew how to play with in a matter of 30 minutes just toying around. its really not that complex. if you've ever played TA you automatically now how to play SC.
maybe im just biased because i played TA for so long and the control scheme in SC is almost an exact copy bit for bit for TA. -

is there a way to minimize the damn hud? stopped playing the beta for a bit...finals next week(going crazy), but the hud takes up a good half of the screen, making it unlike TA in that the HUD is very intrusive to the gameplay...were those actual screenshots they show? and if so, how did they get the hud out of the way?
