Sweet. This game is so much better than I thought it would be -- like a more refined BF2.

I've put almost 20 hours in and I love it. The maps seem tighter, though you still have some sprawled out crappy ones. I have much less trouble finding a good squad to play with and I love the unlock system.

I also haven't experienced many bugs, but then again, BF2 also liked my computer. It's never been that buggy of a game for me. They even improved the nasty ass server browser (or it seems that way).

'Improved' is the key word. The server browser is still a huge pile of shit compared to any others.

My tag is SturmLancer if you want to play. I'm on most nights and during my lunch break, though this week = Thanksgiving with the family.

Seriously. I was waiting for a pile of shit like usual and it's surprising how much better it is over BF2.

I can't wait to install this when I get home.

Refined yet as unstable as the BF2 demo for me. 5-6 Crashes a day is rediculous.

Other then that I'm liking it myself. Titan mode is fun. At least for those burned out on Conquest. Till QW's that is.

I haven't had a single crash with BF2142. We're talking about the full game right? not the demo? What kind of hardware are you running on?

P4 3.4g, 2x512MB PC3500, ATI9800XT... Cat 6.11. I'm not alone in the crashes. There is deffinately a need for optimization on their end. If you look at one of the other threads here, after the patch some crash EVERY single time a round ends.

        GG Dice.

welp, had my first ctd ever with this, and it was at the end of a round of titan. i've played 5-6 conquest rounds so far, so it seems only titan is the problem. it looks like dice is keeping up with their standard of releasing a show stopper bug along with each new patch. :(

Ya, sorry. Only really play Titan mode. I should have specified that. I've heard Conquest was much more stable. I'm just burned out on it for now.
