So they are more concerned with the viability of their company than the quality of their game?
You know I was excited at first when I heard they were going to make a new Sam&Max game, but now I'm really not looking forward to it at all. In another interview they said they were using 3D because its quicker and cheaper to produce.
This episodic BS seems more about getting a game out quick and cheap as possible rather than investing in quality. Why should I be excited about episodic content? Because I get to pay for a game in installments (that will probably end up being more than a regular game in the end)?
In any case I don’t think this new game will stand up to the fans expectations. If anything it will make us remember what made the old game great.

For Sam and Max, the episodes don't add up to one storyline. Each episode is a case, and all the cases make up a season.
