The past few days I've been playing through Condemned: Criminal Origins on the 360, and it's another fine game from Monolith. The melee combat is incrediby satisfying, with your choice of pipes, planks, papercutters, axes and shovels among other things available for killing all kinds of crazed druggies and hobos, plus there are some "finishing" moves as well. The entire game has a very unsettling atmosphere too, and I'm actually finding it far more spooky in parts than F.E.A.R. (which never really scared me). I think I'm at the final parts of the game right now, which means I'll be completing it in under ten hours probably which may make it hard to justify the sticker price for some but I have to say its worth it.
