John Romero - I played DOOM3 for 8 hours and I just couldn't take it anymore so I stopped playing it. Then I got HalfLife2, played it and saw the future of the FPS.
That made me laugh, although I agree HL2 was by far the better game.

John Romero - PC-wise, it's doing just fine. As has been explained countless times before, this industry goes through gloom & doom cycles every time a new major console is released. PC gaming will always be here because it's the most advanced platform that pushes the boundaries of game design and technology.
Let's hope so. Sony and MS are starting to pay developers a lot more to go console-exclusive (i.e just one console and no PC release)... it's certainly easier to take that path for the developers too.
