Seriously, I'd have this right now if it wasn't for the negative response to the demo. Was the demo a poor representation of the actual game? Does the game have the swarms of enemies and insane fun SS did?
All I really want is coop multiplayer at the hardest difficulaty level with unlimited respawns. I'm crossing my fingers that this game to be as good as the last.

Believe me when I say this, the demo is in NO way a representation of the full game. Seriouslly, give it a swing, its awesome! So much fun!
very first thing is a cheesey intro movie but hey, its supposed to be fun so im going with it, then its right off the start into a jungle level large open spaces.. and there is a cliff to your side. i jumped on the dinosaur and yes,, ran off the isde of the cliff.. NO invisible wall like the demo lvl .. good times :D already seeing jokes and fun stuff in the first few minutes.. goofy voices, basketball stuff.. try shooting a chicken its explodes and turns into a cooked thanksgiving turkey :) anyway.. going back to play, you guys should give it a go and quit bashing.. its made in good spirit fun and not so "serious"

Also one thing I noticed-- despite all the detail, none of the environments look as cohesive or inspired as the previous Serious Sam games. Like the egyptian theme in the original was pulled off incredibly well, yet with all the detail in the world the futuristic theme just wasn't very convincing in the SS2 demo.
But that first shot on the front page gives me hope. That looks freaking sweet.
on one hand you have these ultra-detailed worlds, but the characters in them just don't match in detail
