Dawn of War 1.40 Patch Released

As was expected, the 1.40 patch for Warhamer 40,000: Dawn of War is now available. Though a hefty 188mb download, the patch does not include new content, only offering some balancing changes and performance improvements while preparing the game for the Winter Assault expansion pack.

I'm getting a corrupt patch error from the fileshack download when I try to install it.

- Warp Spider damage against infantry has been reduced by 15%
- Ork Stormboyz armor changed from Infantry High to Heavy Medium. Ork Stormboyz should now be a much better counter to Warp Spiders.

THANK GOD! Maybe now Orks will stand a chance against a decent Eldar player during the early phase.

Is there still only the space marines as single player? :( :(

I can't hang with the micro-managing turbo clickers in multiplayer, but the single player is quite fun. I'm stuck on Mission 8 at the moment, with a pretty good save point. :D
