I can say, without a doubt, that this is the single biggest reason I don't play UT2K4 anymore. I want human competition. I know exactly, invariably, how I score on each difficulty setting of UT bots. Why would I want to play against 1 other guy and have 6 bots worth of fodder? It impossibly scews the scores, and you have no idea who's better. But hey, you do know who's better at killing the retarded ass bots. If I wanted to play the bots, I'd fucking well play offline with no ping.
Fuck bots. Fuck them in their stupid asses. This will be the death of CSS. Hopefully no server admins will put bots in their servers.

There are a number of other things we're working on at Valve right now that we aren't quite ready to talk about, but our resolution for the new year is to keep the community more informed about what's ahead. To that end, there will be a weekly Steam message (like this one) to give people and idea of what we're working on.

Always like the ability to play against bots or humans.
Some myg0t turd was on, with the speed hack. He'd reach the CT spawn in a few seconds and proceed to shoot most of us down. However, we had a bot on our team that would aim MUCH faster than any human and would regularly headshot this turd as soon as he was visible.
I told all the CTs to sit back and wait for the hacker. BOOM! As soon as this fuck was visible, the bot would take him down.
