Steam Update
The Steam Powered website notes that a Steam client update has been released, fixing (among other things) problems with foreign language characters, and Half-Life 2 preloading being stuck at 89% for some people.

I still get disconnected about 5 times per hour with a host of different error messages being left behind in the console. I have submitted bug requests for each of the different msg's so all I can do now is pray one day I will be able to play a match for longer then 10 minutes.-
I followed a bunch of people's suggestions to fix this problem ( I was having it too).
I don't remember which fix actually fixed the problem, but it's fixed now. The most drastic change I made was actually underclocking my videocard by 1mhz. I think it's still on that setting.
Also, there was another time that cs:s wouldn't even run (Game is unavailable) for days at a time. So I uninstalled Steam and reinstalled everything, things seem to be working fine.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very disappointed with the support I've been recieving (read: none). Especially since I paid $60 for this. -
Seriously? Steam and CS:S have never crashed on me. Ever.
