Condition Zero Shots

There are some new Counter-Strike Condition Zero shots out, showing more from this single player Counter-Strike game currently in development at Ritual Entertainment. According to a recent Vivendi press release (thanks Ritualistic), the game is currently slated for a third quarter 2003 release - up from the earlier May release date. Also, some model shots are available on GameSpot.

Someone needs to get smart and do to CZ what happened to RTCW's expansion - stop the single player production and release the multiplayer stuff as a free download.

Is this still using valves version of the Q2 engine?
It looks like ass. On one of the screenshots (the one with the sniper sight looking at a terrorist) the barrel of one of the guns looks like a square, its not even round at all.

I think they should work on something else now.. Half-life was a brilliant game don't get me wrong, but its had its time and now Valve and gearbox need to take it to a new level, Yes this does look like ass. They should be making CS2 for the Unreal 2 engine because it looks great. I don't have any other suggestions for an engine but it needs to be a new one, because it looks like shit now

Or how about the fact that these shots aren't new. They were put out over a month ago. Just imagine.. Raven Shield will be out in less than a month. I give it another month or so before someone does a full blown mod for it so that we get all the new graphics and weapons of that game, but with the movement and fast action of counter-strike. At which point...why bother with this? 3rd quarter 2003? Are they kidding already?
